I use Wet n Wild's To My Yang (shimmer) and Inglot's AMC Gel Liner in 76 (matte) pretty interchangeably, though I obviously need the shimmery one if I want to transform a matte eyeshadow. The gel base helps with longevity and vibrancy, sure, but it transforms the finish of shimmer shadows into the very smooth "wet look" instead.
